“The sun has risen over Madagascar.” Can going meta really save a film? Why not give it a shot? That’s the idea behind this clever comedy short film called A Bloody Mess – available to watch online for free. This is the latest short created by the talented directing duo Josefin Malmén & David Strindberg, also known as “BABYBABY”. They run a production company based in London, making more short films and commercials like this. This is how the film stars: A lone policeman finds himself in the middle of a hellish nightmare. But as the story unfolds we discover there are other tormented souls nearby, battling demons of their own. As the story continues, filmmakers wonder if they can salvage their monster movie by going meta… Starring Joys Thsibangu, Ida Alamaa, Hugo Cohen, Camila Bejarano Wahlgren, and Karl Popow.
