Tina Knowles and Richard Lawson have reached a settlement on their divorce.

The 70-year-old mother of Beyoncé and Solange Knowles filed for divorce just over a year ago, after eight years of marriage with the 77-year-old actor.

People reports the former couple have agreed on how to split their assets and earnings.

Both Tina and Richard have waived their right to spousal support and she agreed to a one-time payment of $300,000 to him, representing “a full and complete settlement of all interest that Respondent has acquired during marriage in the community property of the parties as well as his obligation on any and all community debts.”

The Divorce in the Black actor has been awarded a 2021 Cadillac Escalade, the right to all earnings acquired since their separation date, “funds acquired by Richard Lawson Studios Inc., his SAG pension plan, royalties, creative works made during their union, and personal belongings, including clothing and jewelry.”

Tina gets to keep a property in Los Angeles and one in Texas, along with “all furniture, furnishings, appliances, artwork and personal effects” in both locations.

She will also get to keep all earnings acquired since the separation, as well as creative works generated during their time together. The fashion designer will get to keep a 2018 Tesla and a 2020 Bentley, plus the Matriarch Book “deal” with Penguin Random House and a one percent interest in Kirby Beauty Management LLC.

In their settlement, they have agreed to a “non-disparagement agreement,” where they “acknowledge their intent to resolve all issues in their dissolution amicably.” They agree to agree on “any statements made about their divorce mutually and will not speak ill about their children, grandchildren, and their spouses.”

Tina filed for divorce July 26, 2023, citing irreconcilable differences.

The former couple wed in 2015 after dating for two years.
