The Weeknd is putting on an incredible show!

The superstar debuted a never-before-seen production to over 70,000 fans during his sold-out one-night-only event on Saturday (September 7) at Estádio MorumBI in São Paulo, Brazil.

Special guest Playboi Carti came out to perform two songs, while Anitta surprised audiences by appearing on top of the ancient building on stage disguised as one of The Weeknd’s dancers.

The show included a fleet of 150 drones in the sky at the end of the performance, spelling out the name of his highly anticipated next album, Hurry Up Tomorrow, the conclusion of his trilogy of studio albums, following 2022′s Dawn FM and 2020′s After Hours.

This album “represents the creative apex of the project, serving as the third and final chapter crafted with existential and self-referential themes as seen with the latest visionary teasers that have set fans ablaze with anticipation for this concluding installment,” via a release from Live Nation.

The album is available for vinyl and CD pre-order now, as well as a limited-edition XO merch collection, with 10% of net proceeds from all sales being donated to the BrazilFoundation’s Brazilian Soul Fund.

A huge projection of The Weeknd was displayed on the historic Farol Santander building on September 5 ahead of the huge show.

In October, The Weeknd heads to Australia to perform four shows across Melbourne and Sydney.

As a United Nations World Food Programme Goodwill Ambassador, he also partnered with the U.N. World Food Programme to contribute funds from the São Paulo show to the XO Humanitarian Fund, which supports the U.N.’s response to the unprecedented global hunger crisis, with $1 local equivalent from each ticket sold going to the cause.
