“Drop it! Time to pay for your sins.” A24 has revealed the second trailer for Ti West’s highly-anticipated horror thriller MaXXXine, the third film in his trilogy starring the inimitable Mia Goth as the character Pearl and/or Maxine. Opening in theaters in early July – just one month from now. This is going to be wild & crazy & brutal! In 1980s Hollywood, adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx finally gets her big break. As a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Hollywood, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past. In addition to Mia Goth as Maxine, this also co-stars Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Lily Collins, Halsey, Giancarlo Esposito, & Kevin Bacon. This may turn out to be the best of the bunch in Ti West’s Mia Goth trilogy, with all the Hollywood craziness wrapped up in her killer story. And such a wicked cast in this one! Definitely a film to catch in theaters this summer.

MaXXXine is written and directed by acclaimed American genre filmmaker Ti West, director of the films The Roost, Trigger Man, The House of the Devil, Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever, The Innkeepers, The Sacrament, In a Valley of Violence, the “Dead and Lonely” series, plus the two previous films X and Pearl. Produced by Jacob Jaffke, Harrison Kreiss, Kevin Turen, and Ti West. This hasn’t premiered at any festivals or elsewhere yet.
