Photos of Nina Dobrev and Ben McKenzie surfaced earlier this morning leaving Entertainment Weekly’s 2014 Comic-Con party last night (Saturday) July 26 in San Diego, Calif.
The 25-year-old Vampire Diaries starlet and 35-year-old Gotham actor were photographed hugging and getting into the same taxi together but a source tells Just Jared they’re just friends.
“They’ve been just friends for a few years,” a source exclusively tells JJ. “Ben is best friends with Nina‘s Vampire Diaries co-star Paul Wesley from way back. Ben was just being a gentleman last night and protecting her from some of the photographers who were being aggressive.”
