Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s latest appearance, though virtual, was unsurprisingly stylish. On Aug. 2, Archewell released a video of the couple announcing the foundation’s Responsible Technology Youth Power Fund, an initiative working to change the future of tech use. Amid recent rumors of a separation, the Duke and Duchess revealed the project in coordinated ensembles exuding the popular “quiet luxury” trend.
Markle wore a sleeveless turtleneck and matching tube skirt from Bleusalt. Derived from sustainable wood fabric, the elevated separates are minimalist, yet focus on high-quality craftsmanship. While they certainly look expensive, the top and bottom are quite reasonably priced at $140 and $162, respectively. Markle accessorized with gold jewelry, including handcrafted hoop earrings from Lanvin and a Cartier watch and bracelet.
The foundation of quiet luxury has long been a part of Markle’s wardrobe over the years, both as a working royal and private citizen. The elegant camel-toned outfit also embraces recent “latte” makeup trend all over TikTok, characterized by the warm, caramel colors of a latte. Harry complemented Markle’s look in chinos in a similar light brown shade, which he paired with a crisp, white button-down with rolled up sleeves.
The pair’s last public appearance was in May, at the 2023 Women of Vision Awards in New York City. Then, Markle stepped out of her style comfort zone in a metallic gold midi dress from Johanna Ortiz, featuring a strapless neckline and a diamond-shaped keyhole cutout. Harry was by Markle’s side in a blue suit and patterned tie.
