Hits and Misses: Magazine Covers of August 2024
As we close out the month of August, it’s time to reflect back on the August 2024 magazine covers our fave fashion glossies bestowed upon us for the month. Anna Wintour staged a major journalistic coup by welcoming Jill Biden, First lady of the United States back onto the cover of American Vogue. Across the pond in the United Kingdom, Chioma Nnadi bestowed upon readers Suki Waterhouse (and her newborn daughter) onto British Vogue while Eugénie Trochu at Vogue France opted to repurpose a Kendall Jenner shoot (which appeared on US Vogue two months prior). Elsewhere, Susan Sarandon made for ELLE Spain’s surprise (yet much-welcomed) cover star while we were left scratching our heads in sheer disbelief over Winona Ryder‘s appearance on Harper’s Bazaar.
