Bill Cosby’s Lawyer Issues Statement After His Refusal to Answer Questions About Alleged Sexual Assault
Amid many accusations of sexual assault over the years, Bill Cosby is once again in the spotlight over the allegations after refusing to address questions on the serious subject.
The 77-year-old comedian appeared on an NPR program that aired yesterday alongside his wife Camille and the host of the show, Scott Simon, asked about the allegations. Bill went silent when he was questioned about his alleged sexual abuse of women over the years.
In response, Bill‘s lawyer issued a statement on his official website.
“Over the last several weeks, decade-old, discredited allegations against Mr. Cosby have resurfaced. The fact that they are being repeated does not make them true. Mr. Cosby does not intend to dignify these allegations with any comment. He would like to thank all his fans for the outpouring of support and assure them that, at age 77, he is doing his best work. There will be no further statement from Mr. Cosby or any of his representatives,” the statement read.
