Another member of the James family has joined the Bachelor Nation!
On Wednesday (August 30), ABC announced the 22 women that will be competing for Gerry Turner‘s heart on the new spinoff series The Golden Bachelor.
One of those women happens to Patty James – the mother to former Bachelor lead Matt James.
Following the announcement, Matt, 31, took to his Instagram Story to react to Patty, 70, joining the show.

Patty has been single for nearly 30 years after splitting with Matt and his brother John‘s dad, Manny James when they were children.
Matt made history when cast as the first Black Bachelor for season 25 back in 2021.
