Angel Reese To Release A New Podcast, ‘Unapologetically Angel’

Angel Reese, the dynamic basketball star who is frequently the topic of conversation, is now ready to start her own. The former Louisiana State star is venturing into the world of podcasting with her new weekly show, Unapologetically Angel.

Angel announced the new venture this week.

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese is taking the podcast mic.

The series will debut on September 5 on Shaquille O’Neal’s Playmaker HQ. Listeners can tune in on platforms like YouTube and various podcast apps.

Angel will co-host the podcast with Maya Reese (no relation). Together, they are looking to hold engaging conversations with guests from the sports, entertainment, fashion, and business worlds. As the 22-year-old told Complex, “I want to have guests from all industries on the show – sports, music, entertainment, business, creators, and more. But you know I definitely have to get my girls Meg Thee Stallion, Latto, and Cardi B on here.”

Angel Reese has something to say – on and off the court.

With the podcast slogan “What They Gonna Say Now,” the popular WNBA rookie is clearly sending a message to critics. As she wrote on Twitter/X: “Little miss keeps a bag, makes y’all mad, stays in y’all bag, never cared about what y’all say about her, basketball player, model, businesswoman, broadcaster, influencer, and actress ETC. is starting her own podcast! I’m taking my voice back & clearing all the false narratives.”

Reese has been keeping busy both on and off the court. In addition to her new podcast, Angel recently dropped a new collab with the legacy candy brand Reese’s. As part of the deal, the Bayou Barbie is releasing a “Reese’s Pieces” apparel collection featuring shirts, jerseys, hats, and more.

Each piece will feature the candy’s iconic orange hue and the phrase “Reese’s Angel.”
