Travis Kelce is the star tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs and was in attendance for Taylor Swift‘s Eras tour stop at Arrowhead stadium back in July 2023.

Well, the 33-year-old all-star athlete explained that he actually had a plan to give Taylor his phone number on a bracelet he made for her. Unfortunately, the bracelet didn’t make it to Taylor.

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, so I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I made for her,” Travis told his brother Jason on the “New Heights” podcast, recorded during the summer. “I wanted to give Taylor Swift [a bracelet] with my number on it.”

“She doesn’t meet anybody — or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal. But it was an unbelievable show,” Travis added.

Jason then pointed out that Taylor is an Eagles fan…and likely hasn’t gotten over that the Eagles just lost to the Chiefs in the 2023 Super Bowl. Could be!
