1. Haunted house chocolate cookie kit
Move over gingerbread, there’s a new edible house on the block, and it’s deliciously spooky. This $10-haunted house kit comes with a ready-to-assemble chocolate cookie structure, Halloween-themed icing colors, and candy decorations like skeletons, pumpkins and black cats.
2. Halloween gummies
Want a fun, fresh option for trick or treaters this year? Trader Joe’s introduced their own brand of Halloween gummies. Each mini pack is filled with soft and chewy gummies in five festive shapes that are made without gelatin and colored with only naturally available products.
3. Brain cactus in ceramic skull
If you’re looking for a fun, seasonal houseplant that your kid can help care for (read: it doesn’t need much water), look no further: this brain cactus in a ceramic skull is scarily cute. (Fun fact: the plant is actually called a brain cactus, it’s not just a marketing term.)
4. Pumpkin-flavored Joe Joe’s
Trader Joe’s famous sandwich cookies got a festive makeover this year. Pumpkin-flavored Joe Joe’s feature vanilla wafers filled with pumpkin crème, and what kid wouldn’t love that?
5. Mexican-style hot cocoa melts
There’s nothing better than a hot bevvy after (or during) a chilly night of trick or treating, and these Mexican-style hot cocoa melts are just as delicious as they are fun and festive. Simply place the pumpkin on top of a mug of warm milk, and watch the white-chocolate-and-cinnamon shell melt away to reveal a stash of marshmallows and milk chocolate drops.
6. Pumpkin overnight oats
Make sure your kiddos have enough energy for Halloween festivities with a breakfast (or snack!) of pumpkin overnight oats. The premade meal is chock full of goodness: pumpkin purée, pumpkin spice, almond butter and rolled oats.
7. Fall Fantasy pumpkins
No Halloween is complete without a pumpkin display. Trader Joe’s carries carving pumpkins, but if your kid likes something a little different, these Fall Fantasy pumpkins come in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes.
